Percutaneous lung aspiration/biopsy

Under supine position, chest sono revealed as mentioned above. After local anesthesia, percutaneous lung aspiration was performed over left 4th ICS at medial side of mid-clavicular line several times. The specimens were sent for cytology. Percutaneous lung biopsy was performed via the same route several times. The specimens were sent for pathology. There was no pneumothorax revealed after the procedure. The patient tolerated the whole procedure well. Recommend closely follow-up patient's clinical condition for possible complications such as pneumothorax, hemoptysis or hemothorax. (DOC____)
