Under sitting position, chest sono revealed as mentioned above. After local anesthesia, thoracocentesis was performed via the 9th ICS of right mid-scapular line, and 30ml yellowish pleural effusion was aspirated. Then pleural biopsy was performed via the same route. Several specimens were obtained and they were sent for pathology. The patient tolerated the whole procedure well. Recommend closely follow-up patient's clinical condition for possible complications such as pneumothorax or hemothorax. (DOC____)
